Treatment with camouflagers
Prescribing Notes:
- Camouflagers are prescribable for postoperative scars, other visible differences, and as an adjunctive therapy for emotional disturbances due to disfiguring skin disease e.g. vitiligo.
- Changing Faces has self-help advice and guidance for patients.
- Prescriptions should be endorsed “ACBS”.
- Use of Dermacolor, Covermark and Veil products should follow ACBS guidance.
